no. their flamboyant culture of delicious food, excellent music, and functional neighborhoods and communities will destroy us. plus if we ease the embargo they can get medicine and then their expected lifespan at birth will surpass ours by even more. on the other hand, it's a police state. but it's a low-tech police state which isn't that terrifying. oh, cuba, i wish i could quit you.
