Here's the offending comment: "I just want to comment on how it's become like a common thing in the NHL for guys to fall in love with my sloppy seconds. I don't know what that's about, but enjoy the game tonight." |

Comments:
can someone educate me here on the offensiveness of "sloppy seconds"? i really only remember it from the movie Grease. is it that offensive? i voted foul because i'm really just not that outraged by this comment and in fact, i'm not really sure why anyone is outraged.
i bet the girl is outraged? he should not have been suspended, though. he is a hockey player - a sport where fighting is condoned, if not encouraged.
it could be viewed as offensive because it implies that if a woman is involved with a man once, then she's tainted goods—as though he used her up and left the scraps out. I do think athletes should be held to a high standard when making public comments but this one is fairly tame.

randyc: all time greatest comment ever.
hmm... really? i really want to be offended, i'm a pretty ardent defender of women and pretty anti-misogyny, but i just don't feel it. i'm really not offended.

ah man. you redacted my comment which was informative and hilarious.
it was a good comment and we all enjoyed it, but the taco theme was escalating to the point of vulgar brinkmanship, which i'm all in favor of in a bar, but not sure i want to expose the ladies to it. but feel free to message me any follow ups.
damn!!! I missed the redacted comments!
