Your predictions? Here's how it works: "students... will be eligible to earn up to 50 points per month and be paid $2 per point for attending class regularly and on time, turning in homework, displaying manners and earning high marks." Right now it's a pilot with 3,000 students.

why fail? i think this is a great idea. probably it would be better if it was put in a trust fund to be paid conditional on graduation. at least let's agree that it's amazing that someone is actually trying something new. this is a new idea that has left the drawing board and will be put into practice on a provisional experimental basis. now just wait and see what happens. three cheers for doing something.

i agree, i think it's a great idea. In fact, I voted thrive, because I think it's going to be cost effective. I understand, though, why people think it will fail. I also agree that it's fresh thinking. We need more fresh thinking.
